Detection of IL-6, IL-10, and TNF-α level in human single-blastocyst conditioned medium using ultrasensitive Single Molecule Array platform and its relationship with embryo quality and implantation: a pilot study
Zhong et al.
The secretion of cytokines, including IL-6, IL-10 and TNF-α, is a key factor in embryo blastulation and implantation during IVF. Researchers measured these cytokines in single-blastocyst conditioned medium (SBCM) at specified time intervals. Results suggest that IL-6 was associated with embryo quality at specific points during blastulation but its role in implantation remained unclear. This study shows how ultrasensitive assays can lead to future advances in IVF through enhanced understanding of embryo development.
